Downtown Manhattan Inspires Upper School Photography Students

Morgan Nichols, Creative Arts Teacher
The Upper School Photography students traveled to downtown Manhattan to take advantage of the photographic diversity in an urban environment.
Walking along the Brooklyn Bridge and meandering up towards Chinatown, the students looked for unique and dynamic composition for their photographs. Leading lines, framing, pattern and lighting were just some of the concepts that the students used while creating these beautiful shots. This opportunity allowed students to hone their skills while experiencing a new and vastly different environment from their own.
