Horizons Comedy Night on Jan. 24 Supports Programming

Horizons at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) will hold a comedy night event on Friday, January 24 in the Carver Dining Hall at NCCS to raise funds to support the organization. This event is open to the public and will include a live comedy act starring Bob DiBuono, stand-up comedian and cast member of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central and Adam Muller, a New York based stand-up comedian, and second place winner at the Manhattan Comedy Festival.
Attendees can purchase a table for eight guests and bring their own food, drinks and table décor. The emcee of the night will be Kevin Thompson, Horizons graduate, ’03. An exciting live-auction item of four VIP tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will also raise funds for Horizons year-round programming. For more information on the comedians, and to buy a table, visit: www.Horizons2020.givesmart.com.

Founded in 1964, Horizons at NCCS is the first in a nationwide network of programs that are successfully closing the opportunity gap experienced by under-resourced students. Horizons at NCCS builds deep and lasting relationships with the 400 K-12 Norwalk and Stamford students it serves. The six-week Summer Program and year-round academic and enrichment programming help students imagine and achieve a brighter future for themselves.
