Linda Ogden Wilson ’62

Survived by son James “Jamie” Wilson ’90 and brothers Robert Ogden ’49* and Richard Ogden ’54

Constance Linda Ogden Wilson ’62 passed away peacefully at her home on June 8, 2016 at the age of 68. Linda was born in Stamford on July 16, 1947 to the late Robert Schuyler and Edith Mitton Ogden, Sr. Known by close friends and family as "Pindy", she grew up in New Canaan, but raised her children in Darien. Just four years ago, she moved to Stamford to be closer to family. 

Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Joan Ogden.

Linda is survived by her son James Thomas Wilson ’90 and his wife Chelsea of Utah; her daughter Lindsay Wilson and her fiancé Noel McNamara of Stamford; her brothers Robert S. Ogden, Jr. of Madison and Richard M. Ogden and his wife Laura of Washington, D.C.; her four beloved grandchildren Callie, Zoe, Sophia and Schuyler; several nieces and her dearest pug Ella. 

She was a devoted Mother who took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She had an unwavering passion and love for all animals. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. 

A Memorial Service will celebrate Linda's life on her Birthday, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge Road, New Canaan, CT. A reception will immediately follow at The Roger Sherman Inn, 195 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT. A private interment will follow at St. Mark's Episcopal Church Cemetery, New Canaan. There will be no calling hours.
