Dribblers Dazzle During Half-Time Show

Second and third grade girls have been fine-tuning their dribbling skills over the last several months, building confidence and coordination while having a ton of fun. Watch the video
The girls got to share their skills at a Lower School assembly and again during halftime of a girls’ varsity basketball game on Feb. 21. PE teacher Chantal Angelis introduced the Dribblers program three years ago and it has been a popular afterschool offering through the school’s Plus Program.

It has been so amazing to watch these girls grow in confidence and skill throughout the last few weeks. I want them to feel empowered in knowing that if they try their best and work hard at something they can do anything they put their mind to,” said apprentice Melissa Fryer, who coached the girls along with Ms. Angelis.
