Country School Delivers Books to Person-to-Person

More than twenty NCCS students from all four divisions gathered in Perrine Commons to sort and pack hundreds of gently used books collected during the annual LS Earth Day Book Recycling Project.
Students also helped deliver the books to Person-to-Person in Darien, a local community-supported agency that provides emergency assistance for basic needs, and support for individuals and families as they move toward stability. To kick-off the project, Katie McCormick, NCCS parent and Person-to-Person volunteer, spoke to the students about Person-to-Person, the services it provides, the families it assists and how the books will be used.
