Family Fun Night & Deal Days - A Success!
Sideways rain couldn't stop the fun at Family Fun Night last Friday, April 25. Relocated into Grace House, the night was a whirlwind of magicians, raffle tickets, stilt walkers, glow sticks and carnival games - even a surprise visit from the one and only NCCS Cougar. The faculty-donated raffle prizes were a huge hit bringing in hundreds of tickets sold and a nail-biting experience for onlookers as Mr. Cooper emceed the drawing. It was a memorable night, one that everyone enjoyed!
Family Fun Night kicked off a great Country School tradition – Deal Days, a giant tag sale and the Parents’ Association's largest fundraiser of the year. Our amazing community came together to celebrate the school and shop. New friendships were made and old ones strengthened as parent volunteers planned, organized, sorted, hauled, cleaned and sorted some more. Even former parents came by to unload donations, and they found themselves reminiscing about their own Deal Days memories.
