Eighth Graders at Camp Dudley
The eighth grade spent time at Camp Dudley in Westport, NY participating in team building activities and problem solving via high and low ropes courses and other outdoor challenges.
The trip was a great success, with students building on relationships that already existed and creating new friendships and a positive common experience with their class. Trips like Camp Dudley lay the foundation for class cohesiveness, something essential to creating a safe space in the classroom. Safe spaces are where students do deep thinking through exploring their ideas and testing theories. As learning is the residue of thinking, building positive relationships with both peers and faculty are essential to the good work we do here in the Upper School.
