Speaker Promotes Positive Approach to Social Media
New Canaan Country School hosted “A Positive Approach to Navigating Social Media and Technology” a presentation by The Social Institute on Thursday, Nov. 21. The event was co-sponsored was New Canaan CARES.
Social Media Coach Josh Lutkus offered a positive approach for parents to guide and support children in making positive choices while using technology in social ways. In addition, Mr. Lutkus met with educators and students to share best practices and reinforce character and leadership strengths like empathy, integrity, and teamwork when using social media. By teaching students to champion high character on all social platforms, Mr. Lutkus empowered students to “win” at social media and technology.
