|Upper School Expands the Classroom During Trips Week|
Upper School students are heading to various destinations around the country as part of their annual “Trips Week.” Ninth graders are retracing the Civil Rights movement in the Deep South, exploring the rich culture and history of New Orleans, and studying coral reef ecology in the Florida Keys. Seventh graders are traveling to Boston as part of their study of the American Revolution, and eighth graders are heading to Camp Dudley, Westport, NY.
|Students Assemble Emergency Kits for AmeriCares|
In an ongoing partnership with AmeriCares, New Canaan Country School students and teachers gathered as a community on April 3 for a “kitting” event, assembling family hygiene kits which will replenish stocks used during Typhoon Haiyan and other recent emergencies.

Join the fun and help make fleece baby blankets for The Tiny Miracles Foundation, a Fairfield County-based not-for-profit dedicated to helping families with premature infants by providing support, information, services and supplies. |Moms-at-Work (MAWS) Spring Potluck Dinner|
Please join us for a casual potluck and socializing with your fellow MAWs. |PA Meeting & Town Hall with Tim Bazemore|
8:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Please come to Tim Bazemore's final Town Hall meeting, where he will report on school outcomes, placement and results of the recent Mission Skills Assessment. Tim will leave us with some final reflections on Country School and the school’s core values. The PA will also hold a brief official meeting to facilitate the Nominating committee's proposal of the PA Executive Committee slate for the 2014-15 school year.
