Teaching at New Canaan Country School is an exciting and rewarding experience. More than 120 full-time, part-time, and apprentice teachers, and a supportive staff work with bright, motivated students and supportive parents on a spacious campus. We seek talented, experienced professionals who know how to blend traditional and progressive methods and share a deep respect for childhood and developmental philosophy. We are committed to ensuring that our faculty and staff is a diverse group, representing a variety of backgrounds and life and career stages. While state certification is not required, teachers must have a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, generous professional development support, a limited amount of faculty housing and a limited amount of tuition remission for children of faculty and staff.
