Grandparents and Special Friends are invited to join us for this very special Country School tradition. The morning will provide a sneak peek into a day in the life of your Country School student.

Parents may participate as volunteers and will play a critical role in welcoming and directing our guests on campus. Please sign up to volunteer. Thank you for your support!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

 8 - 8:45 a.m.  All Grandparents & Special Friends
 Arrive & Check-in at Grace House   
 (name tags and schedules to be distributed)
 9 - 9:15 a.m.  Remarks from Head of School Aaron Cooper,   Grace House Carver Dining Hall
 9:15 - 9:30 a.m.  All Grandparents & Special Friends begin to follow grandchild(ren)'s schedule 
Special Divisional Gatherings:
9:30 - 10:00 a.m.  Grades 1-4
 Lower School Assembly
 Grace House Auditorium
 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. Beginners 3/4 - Kindergarten
 Early Childhood Gathering
 Thacher Grove (Rain location: Thacher Building -   Motor Room)
 12:15 p.m.  School Dismissal (12 p.m. Beginners Dismissal)

Refreshments will be available during the morning in the Carver Dining Hall in Grace House.

Planning Your Visit

Class Schedules:
Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School schedules will be emailed to parents and guardians on. Upper School schedules will be sent home with students in their backpacks.

Parking:

When grandparents and special friends arrive on campus, they will be directed to the parking areas. For those in need of special assistance, there are limited handicapped spaces available in front of Grace House and the Thacher Building. Additionally, if you need assistance when on campus, we will have two golf carts available for transport. Simply ask the divisional assistant in each building to radio our Facilities team.   

Upon Arrival:
Grandparents and special friends should plan to arrive between 8 and 8:45 a.m. and proceed directly to Grace House. If you would like to drop off your grandchild/special friend to the classroom first, please drop them off and then proceed directly to Grace House. You will check in, receive a name tag and your grandchild's schedule. (For grandparents and special friends with multiple grandchildren and special friends, you will receive a packet of schedules by family name.) There will be refreshments available in Carver Dining Hall and then a presentation from Head of School Aaron Cooper. Once the presentation is over at about 9:15 a.m., you will then follow your grandchild(ren)'s schedule. There will be parent and guardian volunteers to assist you in navigating our campus.
