FOUNDED IN 1916, New Canaan Country School has been a preeminent leader in elementary and middle school education for more than 100 years. Our 85-acre campus includes 4 dedicated academic divisional buildings, a main building, 2 gymnasiums, 2 libraries, a performing arts auditorium and a dining hall. It also features 35 acres of woodlands and trails, a low ropes course, an outdoor classroom, athletic fields, 4 squash courts, a state of the art training facility and access to an outdoor ice rink and paddle tennis courts. There are also spaces dedicated to student wood working, science, robotics, engineering, maker, music, performing and visual arts, maple sugaring, innovations and community gathering.

Our Plus Program offers before and after school programming for all students in Pre-K through Grade 9. The program provides several options for enrichment and fun in a nurturing environment. Our after school programs are fully staffed until 5:30 p.m. Additional fees apply; financial aid available.
