Annual Fund

Our 2023-2024 Annual Fund Opportunity

Our Annual Fund supports the heart of Country School--our students, our teachers, our staff members, our curriculum, technology, wellness, financial assistance, our campus, facilities, and more! It accounts for more than 6% of our total operating budget each year.

Like most independent schools, we are self-funded by student tuition, endowment income, and voluntary donations. Since 1956, our annual giving campaigns have been crucial in helping to balance our budget each year.

Last year, more than 1,000 donors—including parents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, friends, and foundations—made annual gifts to NCCS that helped cover the actual cost of the Country School experience for today's students. Every gift is an intentional statement of advocacy for Country School and the kind of education we offer. We are grateful for each contribution.

The Annual Fund is always first among our school-wide fundraising priorities.

THIS YEAR, as we consider the school’s strategic priorities today and for the future, we want you to be able to contribute to the areas that resonate most with your values and align with our strategic priorities.

The four opportunities for giving to the Annual Fund include:

  • Area of Greatest Need
    • Help ensure that your gift will support the school’s greatest operational needs for this year.
  • Our Program
    • Your gift will help provide a best-in-class childhood education by supporting teacher development, an exceptional foundation in academics, athletics, and the arts combined with an unparalleled social-emotional framework.
  • Our Community
    • Your gift will nurture and cultivate the most vibrant, connected, open, diverse, and welcoming community possible to best support student growth and belonging and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts.
  • Our Future
    • Your gift will help ensure a sustainable future and provide robust financial assistance to as many families as possible.

Donors will be recognized in our Annual Report. If you have not yet participated, we ask you to please consider making a pledge or sending in your Annual Fund gift today. Or, give online to make a secure donation. Gifts may be eligible for a matching gift if your employer participates. To check if yours does, click here. Please know that all gifts are deeply appreciated.

The NCCS Annual Fund runs from July 1 until June 30. To gain possible tax benefits during this tax year, donations should be made prior to December 31.
