Family Fun Night & Deal Days a Success!

This past weekend, more than 500 people attended Family Fun Night and more than 150 parents, faculty and staff volunteered to make an important difference in our community. Together, we raised critical funds for NCCS financial aid, recycled items for the tag sale and helped others in our community in the process.  VIEW PHOTOS

Thank you to everyone who shared their time to attend, volunteer, donate and help spread the word.  We are grateful to each and every one of you! Below please find a special thank you from Deal Days Co-Chairs Jen Kearney and Sarah Irwin.

Dear Family Fun Night/Deal Days Volunteers and Supporters,

With the big event finally behind us, we hope you were able to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation yesterday! We will be reaching out to many of you individually to express our gratitude, but we want to take a moment to congratulate and thank you, on behalf of the entire Country School community, for making Family Fun Night and Deal Days a huge success.

Because of you, students for whom NCCS would otherwise be financially out of reach will receive the life-changing gift of an outstanding education in an environment that values childhood.

Because of you, families in desperate need (from as nearby as Bridgeport, CT and as far as Nicaragua) will benefit from generous donations of all kinds.

Because of you, we’ve forged new friendships, deepened connections, and laughed a lot along the way. We’ve fueled school spirit and created lasting memories for our children with a phenomenal Family Fun Night celebration.

Because of you, our community is stronger than ever.

An event as huge as Deal Days demands a special level of patience and dedication. The teamwork, talent, can-do spirit, grace under pressure and positive energy you’ve devoted to making this happen is truly awe-inspiring.

From the tireless NCCS faculty and staff, many of whom signed up to volunteer after a long week of work, to parents who devoted their time and prodigious talents to transforming every inch of the Watson Gym, to those who volunteered to hang promotional posters in their town— each of you made an enormous and valued contribution to the success of Family Fun Night and Deal Days. We are so proud to be part of this incredible community, and to have volunteered alongside you.

With heartfelt thanks,

Sarah and Jen
