Fifth Graders Create a Medieval Faire

As part of their study of the Middles Ages, fifth grade students put on a re-creation of a Medieval Faire. VIEW PHOTOS


Students shared information about their research papers and projects as well as their hand-sewn tapestries with the school community. In addition, visitors participated in a variety of games of chance and skill, such as archery.

They also studied the Medieval Ages in math class, where they were introduced to concepts of engineering. They experiemented with force and motion while building 
trebuchets, a powerful siege weapon, much like a catapult, used to break down the walls of medieval castles.
