Middle School Students Explore Interests During Clubs

Middle School participated in their first round of “Clubs” last Friday, Oct. 19. Fifth and sixth grade students meet once every cycle (day 6) to participate in activities they have chosen.

The mixed-grade Clubs are formed based on student and teacher interests and are facilitated by teachers. “We want to give children at this age moments of choice and opportunities to pursue something that they are interested in,” said Head of Middle School Kirsten Rosolen. “In addition, we build community by working with a variety of adults and children in the building.” Clubs are offered from Oct.-mid-Jan. and then again from Jan.-Jun.
