"Kelly has been such a wonderful partner and friend,” said New Canaan Country School’s Director of Safety and Security Josh Ziac. “More importantly, the kids love Officer Kelly. She is their local celebrity! We love having her come to campus and spend time with our children. As a law enforcement partner, she has been a steadfast guide and advisor.”

Officer Coughlin joined the New Canaan Police force in 2015 and was promoted to CIO in 2021.

“Officer Coughlin exhibits a high skill level in all facets of her job and she is highly motivated,” Krolikowski said. “We are very fortunate to have her on our team. She is an asset to our department and the New Canaan community.”
