Cougars Fail to Weather the Storm

The Cougars suffered a tough loss in a shortened game this afternoon to St. Luke’s School. Behind good pitching from the Storm, NCCS struggled to get on base. One offensive highlight for the Cougars was a heads up stolen base by Connor Malin in the top of the 3rd. Despite solid pitching efforts from Fletcher Londa and Finn Kieske, the Cougars were unable to weather the Storm. Some notable defensive contributions came from Kieran Williamson and Juan-Carlos Bowman who played well behind the plate, Roman Massey who had a nice day in the outfield, and Ethan Brown-Toussaint who had an impressive ground out from third. The Cougars hope to end their season on a high note when they face Fairfield Country Day next week.
