Horizons Benefit Spotlights Success Stories

Country School alumnus Ryan Oakes '93 “Conjurer to the Stars” will emcee the Horizons Student Enrichment Program at New Canaan Country School’s biennial benefit on Saturday, February 28 at the Greenwich Hyatt beginning at 6:30pm.

The event is titled "Spotlight on Success" and will feature first-hand success stories of generations of Horizons students and graduates. The Dartmouth Rockapellas will provide additional entertainment.

For over 50 years, Horizons has been an outreach program that benefits low-income, public school children primarily from Stamford and Norwalk. Since its origination at NCCS over half a century ago, Horizons has been replicated into a network of 40 affiliate programs across the country. Horizons builds brighter futures for K -12 students from low-income families by creating year-round academic, cultural, and athletic opportunities, nurturing potential, cultivating a safe and supportive community, and inspiring individual dreams.
