Lukies Drop Cougars 38-17

The NCCS Cougars finally got back on the court today after a week off from competition. In a rematch from earlier this season, our crosstown rivals, the St. Luke's Storm, brought their A game, defeating the Cougars 38-17 behind a stellar performance from #11. Using his strength and skilled left hand, he led the Storm with 18 points.

With St. Luke's changing things up in this matchup and throwing a 2-3 zone, NCCS had to implement our Rooster zone protocol. While we made some nice passes and entry feeds into the lane (Parker Griggs had some excellent bounce passes), we turned the ball over too many times and missed too many jumpers to make this one close. There's always next time!

We will see y'all next week in Tiger country when we square off against GCDS. Next Thursday @ 3:30 - see you then!
