Valiant Effort
Down in numbers but undeterred, the boys maxed out their effort on the field and at bat. Unfortunately, Ridgefield took a stead lead but the Cougars pressed on. George Passias and Major Hasbrouck both stepped up in new roles on the mound and behind home plate. Hudson Sonesson was electric making plays in the outfield then striping a ball to center field when at bat. Dylan Reid sent one deep and Ben Kelse had the hit of the season, a would be home run if there was a fence. The team is back in action Thursday as they host Eagle Hill at 3:30pm
