Cougars Drop Opener
In what has become an annual tradition, the New Canaan Country School boys’ varsity hockey team started their season against Upland Country Day School. Despite the limited preparation, the Cougars played well and found themselves down a single goal headed into the third period. Unfortunately, they were unable to capitalize and were forced to pull the goalie with only a few minutes later in hopes of finding the equalizer. The boys had a number of chances but were unable to score, giving Upland the opportunity to score two late goals in the empty net.
