Cougars Outlast the Patriots in Heated Rematch
In a heated rematch that went right down to the wire, the NCCS JV Cougars defeated the Ridgefield Patriots 45-39. NCCS jetted out to a quick 8-0 lead, but the Patriots kept it within striking distance for the full game. After they went on a run in the early fourth behind some excellent scoring from #31 and #20, the Patriots took the lead with just four minutes to go. However, the Cougars were not to be denied. Behind the scoring of Sammy Wagner and the intense defense from Nico Rolfert, the Cougars took the lead right back and never trailed again.

-With his precision three point shot, he showed today why they call him Will "Money" DeSantis.
-Nate Berhe got the scoring going today with an excellent rebound and second chance layup.
-Chase Bowen stepped up big time and scrapped hard in the post today without Derrick Francis in the lineup.
