  • Beginners Connection

    Our littlest students can extend their typical day with afternoon sessions including lunch, quiet time, focused exploration, outdoor play and story time in a multi-age setting.

    Age/Grade of participants: Age 3/4 students enrolled in the Beginners 3/4 program at New Canaan Country School

    Days available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays

  • Early Bird Program

    Students gather for supervised time together before heading to their classrooms. 

    Age/Grade of participants: Beginners ages 3 & 4 through Grade 9 students enrolled at New Canaan Country School

    Days available: Every school day (excluding delayed opening days) beginning at 7:30 a.m.

    Classes featuring master teachers engaging students’ interests in arts, science, sports and wellness, literature, games, cultural awareness and more.

  • Music Academy

    Private and small group music lessons boost students’ skills in voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, flute, harp, recorder, saxophone, clarinet and trombone.

    Pricing: $70 per 1/2 hour private sessions

Weekend + Summer Options

  • Saturday Series

    A fun, hands-on Saturday morning of guided exploration for children (ages 2-5) and their parents/guardians. Activities include: Art, Music, Science, Little Movers: Obstacle Course, Theatre Extravaganza, Little Movers: PE Games, and Puppet Plays, Songs and Stories . The Saturday Series at Country School is a structured activity led by a Country School faculty/staff member.

    Age/Grade of participants: Children ages 2–5 and their parent/guardian. Open to children enrolled and not enrolled at New Canaan Country School.

    Days available: Saturdays during the School year; 9–10 a.m.

    Pricing: $40 per child per class

  • Summer Camp

    Summer@Country School offers a safe, self-contained environment perfect for campers to freely explore and enjoy their favorite activities with friends old and new. We offer a range of traditional and new activities that make each summer unique, including art, STEM and athletics, 85-acres of outdoor and woodland adventure, and weekly specials. Through hands-on experiences and a combination of guided and independent experiences, campers are encouraged to try new things, explore, accept challenges, and most of all have fun. 

    Age/Grade of participants: Beginners (age 3)–Rising Grade 4 children enrolled and not enrolled at New Canaan Country School.

    Days available: June 16–August 15 weekdays from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
