Learning Amidst the Leaves

Our whole campus is our classroom. Country School enjoys 35 acres of largely undeveloped forest with a wide variety of flora and fauna. Teachers and students in all grades and all subjects use the woods to learn. The acreage includes a vernal pond and boardwalks, marked trails used as our cross country course and a low-ropes challenge course, designed to challenge students to work together to solve a problem or achieve a collective goal.
“Being immersed in nature not only enhances our learning experience but also fosters a deep connection and respect for the environment.”
