There has never been a more exciting time to be part of New Canaan Country School.
From exceptional teachers and dynamic programs to the joyful energy that fills our campus each day, there is so much to celebrate and even more to look forward to. Through Deep Roots, Bright Futures: Our Campaign for People, Place & Program, we are building an extraordinary future for our community.
As we continue to evolve to meet the needs of today's students and families, we remain firmly rooted in the mission and values that have guided us for generations. This $30 million comprehensive campaign will strengthen our endowment, enhance our outdoor learning spaces, and sustain our Annual Fund, helping every student experience the joy of learning and the confidence to make an impact.

Our Trailblazers
The success of Deep Roots, Bright Futures begins with our Trailblazers, the dedicated donors whose early commitments helped bring this campaign to life. Their generosity and confidence in Country School's mission have created momentum, inspired participation, and laid the foundation for the work ahead. We are deeply grateful for their leadership and proud to recognize them here.
Previous Campaigns
This new campaign builds on a long tradition of visionary capital giving at Country School.
NCCS, like most independent schools, relies on capital campaigns and major gift fundraising to build new facilities, renovate existing spaces, and purchase additional land or properties for faculty housing. The Board of Trustees votes to initiate a capital campaign, and members of the community are asked to support the effort. Capital campaign gifts are often multi-year commitments, and pledges may be paid over three to five years.
Capital giving is transformative. Donors who contribute to support critical building and infrastructure initiatives that advance the school's strategic priorities have a lasting impact on current and future generations of students.
