Making the Most of
Being in the Middle
This is the place where a student enters from childhood and emerges into early adolescence. At Country School, it is a space to honor and celebrate what it means to find your voice and grow in independence. The Middle School Building is home to Grades 5 and 6. It includes music rooms, two science labs, a Spanish classroom, a library, and small group spaces. Here, students practice autonomy, learning greater responsibility as well as sound study and time management skills. This environment nurtures their academic and personal growth, providing a supportive framework as they navigate this pivotal stage in their lives.

Kyle’s Court
Kyle’s Court is a vibrant hardcourt area equipped with four square, basketball hoops, pickleball, and playground equipment. This space is dedicated to the memory of Kyle A. Markes, a beloved former fifth-grade student who passed away in 2011. Kyle’s Court not only provides a place for students to engage in active play and sports but also stands as a heartfelt tribute to Kyle’s spirit and the joy he brought to our school community. Here, children can enjoy their favorite games and activities, fostering friendships and creating lasting memories.
