A Place to be Nourished in All Ways

A bright and joyful space, the Susan Haigh Carver ’51 Dining Hall is where students eat family-style lunch each day. We prioritize locally-grown food, providing daily options including a salad bar, deli bar, yogurt bar, homemade soups, and a hot entree. Next to the Dining Hall, the warm and cozy Carver Commons provides a community gathering area, perfect for parents and students to socialize as well as for small receptions and admission events.

  • Connecting with the Dining Staff

The people who work here love and care for Country School children. The students even dedicated a recent yearbook to a beloved member of the kitchen staff, appreciating her cheer and personal connection.
  • Making a New Friend

Mealtime is intentionally designed so students get to know a range of other people. Children are assigned seats on a rotating basis so they get to know each of their classmates better. Teachers dine with the students in an atmosphere that encourages community.
