NCCS cannot escapes the Crusaders

The Cougars took on Fairfield Country Day for their fourth game of season.  Fairfield played a strong first half and scoring 4 quick goals.  Despite the lead the Cougars battled back in the second scoring 3 goals to come within two goals.  Strong defensive play was seen by Sam Jones and Jasper Engle forcing many turn overs and strong clears.  Henry Naylor and Ryland Strine also had strong games on attack and mid field.  Despite the game ending in a 7-3 loss Mark Taubner played a solid game in net keeping the Cougars in the game with some big saves.  The team will continue to have strong practices to prepare them for their next home game against Resurrection on May 15th.
