NCCS Girls Varsity Basketball Defeats Ridgefield Academy
The NCCS girls basketball team defeated Ridgefield Academy, 36-32, Tuesday afternoon at Ridgefield Academy. The Cougars were narrowly ahead at the half, 18-21. In the second half of the game, the Cougars made adjustments on the defensive end to contain their lead score, and executed on the offensive end to maintain their lead and finish the game strong with a 36-32 win. The Cougars leading scorer was Gigi Morgan with 17 points. Other Cougar scorers were Paige Davis with eight points, Sofie Petricone with 6 points, Payton Koch and Sophia Sotirhos with 2 points each and Grace Agulay with one point.
